Spinal Cord Injury

Residents participate in the care of patients with spinal cord injury early in the residency, both at the downtown UH IRF location and the SCI unit at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse. The consult resident works with the SCIM fellow in managing referrals from the acute hospital. Those who want to further their understanding of SCI Medicine can apply for the 12 month SCIM fellowship offered.
